Customer and patient focus

Each of our projects has a strong focus on the customers, i.e. the targeted end-user groups, and their perspective. With customer representatives or patient advocacy groups, we first describe their needs and their ecosystem.

A particular attention is given to the reusable elements of the ecosystem.

example: Duchenne patient focus

The Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a rare disease that affects particularly boys. Muscle weakness usually begins around the age of four, and worsens quickly. Most are unable to walk by the age of 12. It is particularly important for parents and caregivers to understand how the disease evolves and how fast to plan for the right care.

Working with the Stijn Foundation, we documented the issues (why) and potential solutions (how) of each stage of the disease. We then created a draft mobile app that turned the why-how graph into an easy to use tool for parents and caregivers.
